Dr. Tosha Rogers

 

Dr. Tosha Rogers is an obstetrician-gynecologist in Atlanta, Georgia. Unmatched skills, credentials that extend beyond two pages, and a confidential client list marvel worthy are some of the many marks of distinction when it comes to Dr. Tosha Rogers.

The Philadelphia native graduated from Drexel University in 1998 with a B.S. in Chemistry with honors. Instead of accepting multiple job offers in the chemical industry, she was accepted to and enrolled in the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she graduated with her D.O. degree in 2002. Dr. Rogers went on to residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Drexel University College of Medicine at Hahnemann University Hospital, also in Philadelphia.

In addition to excelling in academics and forging ahead into a full time career as a doctor; Rogers keen personality, concern, and candid interest for each patient are what push her personal practice to new heights daily and has played a vast role within her early years of progress.

Fast forward to 2020, Dr. Tosha Rogers is still thriving by the minute when it comes to not only her private practice and educating women daily on women's health and other social issues, she is an advocate and the only physician in southwest Atlanta who is educating people, especially women on HIV, HIV prevention, known as Prep and Pep.

Dr. Rogers speaks around the country about HIV prevention and the epidemic of Black cis-women and HIV. She takes it on as a personal challenge to education and help other Black women see HIV as a HUGE health concern in the community. She advocates for women's rights, women's right to adequate healthcare.

"I think a big part of my mission on earth is to uplift women, educate women , and provide a safe space for them to have meaningful dialogue when it comes to matters of sex, pregnancy and more." states Rogers.

By pushing an agenda so honest and positive you cannot help but support a movement with such an authentic mission that's driven on building women up, from the inside out.

Rogers is indeed a vessel when it comes to playing her part well within the medical community. She is the proud founder of this nonprofit organization called Sisters, Caring & Sharing, Inc.
